Explore Te Taiao – the environment while taking part in active hands-on activities that support efforts to protect New Zealand’s unique biodiversity
Participants have the opportunity of completing 4 Level 1 NCEA credits on this programme.
The Explore Te Taiao programme is an opportunity for Year 11 students to come to Whenua Iti Outdoors and participate in an overnight 4-day programme.
The Explore Te Taiao programme will introduce students to concepts and activities with an environmental and conservation focus.
Academic Objectives
Students will have the opportunity to achieve academic learning objectives that contribute to their National Certificate of Education Achievement (NCEA) and develop crucial personal and social development skills.
